They say life is better in a Castle and we would have to agree. The rain didn’t stop us and we danced the night away! This lovely couple enjoyed a day filled with love, laughter and the warmth of a charming Buckhead Castle.
Bee & Will’s love story started over a game of pool in 2008. “I was dropping by girlfriend off to meet a friend at a local bar one afternoon and I decided to go in a grab a bite to eat and wait with her. That turned into us “playing” pool or so I thought… there were two guys at the table next to us, one of which was Will. He came over asking if this was my first time there and laughed about how he could tell because of how terrible our game was.” Bee recalls. Bee and Will spent the rest of the day laughing while Will showed her how to play pool, the proper way. Once the game ended they spent the next two hours talking and laughing. They exchanged phone number and the conversations have continued all the way to the alter.
And for a wonderful play on words the guests were given a hand crafted honey jar with tags printed “Will you Bee by Honey?”
What can we say about getting married in a Historic Castle? Just Do It!
About Rhodes Hall
Built in 1904, Rhodes Hall has been an Atlanta landmark for generations. While it was originally the residence of Rhodes Furniture founder Amos Rhodes, today it is a house museum and one of the most unique venues in Atlanta for social and corporate events. The upper floors of the “castle on Peachtree” are also headquarters for The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation. Take a tour of the house and learn more about its history, get information about the many events at Rhodes Hall, or learn how you can host your next event at Atlanta’s “castle on Peachtree.”
